Web Resources

Below is a list of basic Web resources that will be helpful to you as you explore topics within sustainability and whole building design.  Please check back often as this list is growing.

Whole Building Design Guide
In 1997, Naval Facilities Criteria Office was looking for ways to leverage the shrinking technical and financial resources they used to update hundreds of paper-based criteria documents. SBIC's members and staff helped conceptualize the Whole Building Design Guide website to help address this growing problem. The website became the first electronic portal to provide free access to government-wide, buildings-related criteria, guidance, and best practices.
